What’s included in the DNA Test + Vet Consultation bundle?

I ordered a televet bundle on Basepaws. What happens next?
After your purchase, you will receive an email with your Dial A Vet access code. Save your access code so that once you receive your pet’s DNA report, you can activate it on dialavet.com and schedule your vet consultation.
When will I receive my access code?
You will receive your access code via email immediately after purchase.
How do I redeem my code?
Go to dialavet.com/activate, enter your code and phone number, then you can schedule your vet consultation. Please note that once you redeem your code, your 30-day activation window begins. We recommend redeeming your code after you receive your pet’s DNA results.
What if I want to purchase more than one televet bundle?
You have the option to purchase 2 DNA tests + 2 access codes (worth 60 days of vet consultations) on the Basepaws Dog DNA Test page or the Cat DNA Test page. Simply select the “2 DNA Test + 60-Day Vet Consultation” bundle and complete your purchase. If you order more than one access code, you will receive an email with all access codes. If you want to purchase multiple DNA tests with one access code, you can update the quantity for each directly in your Basepaws cart.
Can I purchase televet access without a DNA test?
We encourage you to purchase the DNA Test + Vet Consultation bundle so you can review your pet’s report with a trusted vet. If you have already purchased a DNA test and want to add the vet consultation, you may order at [link to PDP].
How should I prepare for my televet visit?
To prepare for your televet visit, we recommend first reviewing your pet’s DNA results independently. Then, prepare a list of questions for the vet based on your pet’s results. Once you’re ready to schedule your visit, download your pet’s results as a PDF from your Basepaws account so you can upload them to the chat. Before the appointment, you will need to provide basic information about your pet, such as name, species, age, breed, and what you would like to discuss. Then when it’s time to meet with the vet, find a quiet, comfortable environment for you and your pet.
Is there a limit to how often I can meet with a vet?
There is no limit to how often you can meet with a vet during your 30-day activation window.
What happens after my televet visit?
After your televet visit, you will receive a written summary of the appointment sent to your email. If you’d like to meet with a vet again, you can schedule another consultation during your 30-day activation window.
I activated my code before I received my report and now it has expired. What should I do?
