Your Dog's Breed Report has been UpdatesUpdated 36 minutes ago
We're committed to giving you the most complete, science-backed picture of your dog's heritage. That means as science advances, we keep pace. We've recently updated your dog’s report with deeper breed insights.
- Enhanced breed resolution. Our updated test now detects over 350 breeds, types, and varieties, ensuring even the most distinctive ancestry comes through clearly. Every breed listed in your results represents a real, named breed contribution to who your dog is.
- Meaningful depth, nothing more. Just as a doctor doesn't ask about your great-grandparent's health history because it's too far back to be clinically relevant, we only report breed ancestry up to your dog's great-great-grandparents. Beyond that, the genetic contribution simply isn't impactful enough to your dog’s health, behavior, or personality to report.
- Results you can act on. Understanding what drives your dog's behavior, which training approaches work with their natural tendencies, and what health risks are worth watching for gives you a real foundation for the choices that matter. Walk into your next vet visit with context that matters.
Your dog is one of a kind, and their breed story should reflect that. These updates are designed to give you a richer, more complete picture of where your dog came from, what shaped them, and what makes them uniquely them.
What’s changed:
You had an older Score Report Before: Your dog’s breed results are provided as percentages of specific breeds in your dog’s genetic breed ancestry. Instead of asking “What kind of dog is your dog most similar to?", these results now answer - "What kind of dogs were in your dog’s family history?".
You had an older Percentage Report Before: We are able to attribute all of your dog’s ancestry to a modern breed or geographically distinct type dog (e.g., village dogs).
